What We Do

The Nokesville Foundation is a non-profit organization that was formalized and incorporated in 2021. We operate as a philanthropic organization that holds fundraisers to benefit members of the Nokesville community in times of need. The organization began in 2010 raising money through golf tournaments held in Prince William County with all proceeds going to provide a $2,500 scholarship to a Brentsville High School senior going to a 4 year college. After several successful tournaments, the funds raised expanded to cover more than just the singular annual scholarship. In 2021, in addition the the $2,500 scholarship, the foundation provided a $5,000 donation to the Ryland Strong foundation to benefit a member of the Nokesville Community. In 2022, the foundation granted $1,000 to the Nokesville Schools Robotics team to attend Nationals in Texas. This organization provides these donations in memory of a longtime member of the Nokesville Community, Brentsville High School teacher & Coach: Dale Felten.
